TRACK 02 - IIM LUCKNOW

How might we improve the procurement and disbursal system of IFA supplements - for healthier mothers & pregnant women in rural Bihar?

Piramal invites the students at Track 02 - IIM L to solve The Piramal Swasthya Challenge using the process of Design Thinking. Design Thinking is a human-centred, iterative process that tackles problems using a 5-step approach broadly - Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. You will be going through the Empathise and Define steps in Round 1 - for more information, head over to the Design Thinking section!

At this stage, teams will be evaluated on the following parameters:

  • quality of the research plan (50%), and
  • quality of insights (50%)

Next, shortlisted teams will be required to go through the Ideate, Prototype and Test steps during Round 2 (More information available in the Design Thinking section)

At this stage, teams will be evaluated on the following parameters:

  • Differentiation/diversity of the three concept notes amongst themselves (25%)
  • Alignment of idea with insight from Level 1 (25%)
